applicability of mutual defense assistance control act Sec. 18. The Mutual Defense Assistance Control Act of 1951 (22 U.S.C. 1611 et seq.) shall apply with respect to functions carried out under this Act except in cases where the President shall determine that such application would be detrimental to the interests of the United States.
