Sec. 527. Appropriations contained in this Act shall be available for the purchase or household furnishings and automobiles from military anti civilian personnel on duty outside the continental United States, for the purpose of resale at cost to incoming personnel, and 76 Stat. 333for providing furnishings, without charge, in other than public quarters occupied by military or civilian personnel of the Department of Defense on duty outside the continental United States or in Alaska, upon a determination, under regulations approved by the Secretary of Defense, that such action is advantageous to the Government.
