SEC. 155. LANGUAGE TRAINING IN THE FOREIGN SERVICE. The Department of State, the Department of Commerce, and the United States Information Agency shall ensure that the precepts for promotion of Foreign Service employees provide that end-of-training reports for employees in full-time language training shall be weighed as heavily as the annual employee efficiency reports, in order to ensure that employees in language training are not disadvantaged in the promotion process.
