loan authorization Sec. 401. Section 401(d) of the Housing Act of 1950 is amended by striking out the first colon and all that follows and inserting in lieu thereof the following: “, which amount shall be increased by $300,000,000 on July 1 in each of the years 1961 through 1964: Provided, That the amount outstanding for other educational facilities, as defined herein, shall not exceed $175,000,000, which limit shall be increased by $30,000,000 on July 1 in each of the years 1961 through 1964: Provided further, That the amount outstanding for hospitals, referred to in clause (2) of section 404(b) of this title, shall not exceed $100,000,000, which limit shall be increased by $30,000,000 on July 1 in each of the years 1961 through 1964.”
