Gallaudet College salaries and expenses Fob the partial support of Gallaudet College, including personal services and miscellaneous expenses, and repairs and improvements, as authorized by the Act of June 18, 1954 (Public Law 420), and not to exceed $100,000 to be transferred to the appropriation for Salaries and expenses, Office of the Secretary for necessary expenses of carrying out a study of the education of the deaf, $1,822,000: Provided, That Gallaudet College shall be paid by the District of Columbia, in advance at the beginning of each quarter at a rate not less than $1,500 per school year for each student receiving elementary or secondary education pursuant to the Act of March 1, 1901 (31 D.C, Code 1008). construction For construction, alteration, renovation, equipment, and improvement of buildings and facilities on the grounds of Gallaudet College, as authorized by the Act of June 18, 1954 (Public Law 420), under the supervision, if so requested by the College, of the General Services Administration, including planning, architectural, and engineering services, $2,919,000, to remain available until expended.
