§ 11–2101. Admission to bar; regulations: oath The United States District Court for the District of Columbia may make such rules as it deems proper respecting the examination, qualification, and admission of persons to membership in its bar, and their censure, suspension, and expulsion. Every person so admitted, before he is permitted to practice therein, shall take and subscribe the following oath: “I, ———, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will demean myself as a member of the bar of this court uprightly and according to law; and that I will support the Constitution of the United States.”
