§ 11–983. Oaths, affirmations, and acknowledgmentsEach judge of the District of Columbia Court of General Sessions may administer oaths and affirmations and take acknowledgments. The clerk of the court and his deputies may administer oaths and affirmations and take acknowledgments in all cases pending in the court or about to be filed therein.
