Suspension of imposition or execution of sentence
§ 16–2383. Suspension of imposition or execution of sentenceIn all cases in the Juvenile Court, the court may, upon conviction, suspend the imposition of sentence or impose sentence and suspend the execution thereof, if it appears to the satisfaction of the court that the ends of justice and the best interests of the public and of the defendant would be served thereby. In the imposition of sentence and the suspension of the execution thereof, the court may place the defendant on probation as provided by section 16–2314, 22–903, or 31–207, as the case may be.
