Sec. 11. (a) Section 1 of the Act of July 16, 1912 (ch. 235, 37 Stat. 192: D C. Code, 1961 ed., secs. ll–755c. 22–1101,22–2722), as amended by section 32(b) of the Act of June 25, 1948, as amended by section 127 of the Act of May 24, 1949, is amended to read as follows: “Whoever is convicted of an affray or of keeping a bawdy or disorderly house in the District shall be fined not more than $500 or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.”. 77 Stat. 618 (b) Section 2 of the Act of July 16, 1912 (ch. 235, 37 Stat. 193, D.C. Code 1961 ed., secs. 11–755d, 22–507), as amended by section 32(b) of the Act of June 25, 1948, as amended by section 127 of the Act of May 24, 1949; and as amended by section 212 of the Act approved June 29, 1953, is amended to read as follows: “Sec. 2. Whoever is convicted in the District of threats to do bodily harm shall be fined not more than $500 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both, and, in addition thereto or in lieu thereof, may be required to give bond to keep the peace for a period not exceeding one year.”.
