Sec. 3. Section 7 of the Act of March 2, 1929 (ch. 540, 45 Stat. 1520; D.C. Code, 1961 ed.. sec. 2–406). as amended by section 32(b) of the Act of June 25, 1948, and by section 127 of the Act of May 24, 1949, is amended (1) by striking out the colon preceding the second 77 Stat. 616proviso, and in lieu thereof inserting a period; and (2) by striking out the second proviso and in lieu thereof inserting the following: “On the petition of an applicant to whom registration or reregistration has been denied by the nurses’ examining board, the action of the board may be reviewed by the District of Columbia Court of Appeals in the manner provided by sections 11–742, 17–303, 17–304, 17–305(b), 17–306 and 17–307 of the District of Columbia Code.”.
