Sec. 503. The Secretary of Defense, or his designee, is authorized to accomplish alterations, additions, expansions, or extensions not otherwise authorized by law, to existing public quarters at a cost not to exceed— (a) For the Department of the Army, $2,300,000; (b) For the Department of the Navy, $1,250,000; (c) For the Department of the Air Force, $1,250,000; (d) For the Defense Agencies, $971,000.
