foreign service officers; staff officers and employees Sec. 119. Section 412 of the Foreign Service Act of 1946, as amended (22 U.S.C. 867), is amended to read as follows: “foreign service officers “Sec. 412. There shall be ten classes of Foreign Service officers, including the classes of career ambassador and of career minister. The per annum salary of a career ambassador shall be at the rate provided by law for level IV of the Federal Executive Salary Schedule. The per annum salary of a career minister shall be at the rate provided by law for level V of such schedule.
