INTERSTATE COMMERCE COMMISSION Salaries and Expenses For necessary expenses of the Interstate Commerce Commission, including services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109, hire of passenger motor vehicles as authorized by 31 U.S.C. 1343(b), and not to exceed $1,500 for official reception and representation expenses, $40,923,000: Provided, That joint board members and cooperating State commissioners may use Government transportation requests when traveling in connection with their official duties as such: Provided further, That not to exceed $5,500,000 in fees collected in fiscal year 1992 by the Interstate Commerce Commission pursuant to 31 U.S.C. 9701 shall be made available to this appropriation in fiscal year 1992. Payments for Directed Rail Service (limitation on obligations) None of the funds provided in this Act shall be available for the execution of programs the obligations for which can reasonably be expected to exceed $475,000 for directed rail service authorized under 49 U.S.C. 11125 or any other Act.
