recall Sec. 271. (a) The Director may, with the consent of any retired participant, recall such participant to duty in the Agency whenever he shall determine such recall is in the public interest. (b) Any such participant recalled to duty in the Agency in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (a) of this section or reinstated or reappointed in accordance with the provisions of section 231(b) 78 Stat. 1053shall, while so serving, be entitled in lieu of his annuity to the full salary of the grade in which he is serving. During such service, he shall make contributions to the fund in accordance with the provisions of section 211. When he reverts to his retired status, his annuity shall be determined anew in accordance with the provisions of section 221.
