Housing Act of 19+9 is amended by striking on! “$4,725,000,000” and inserting in lieu thereof “$4,700,000,000, which amount shall be increased by $675,000,000 on the date of the enactment of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1965, by $725,000,000 on July 1, 1966, and by $750,000,000 on July 1 in each of the years 1967 and 1968”. (b) The proviso in the first sentence of section 103 (b) of such Act, and the second sentence of section 6(b) of the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964, are repealed.
