INTERSTATE COMMERCE COMMISSION Salaries and Expenses For necessary expenses of the Interstate Commerce Commission, including services as authorized by section 15 of the Act of August 2, 1946 (5 U.S.C. 55a), at rates for individuals not to exceed $100 per diem; $26,915,000, of which not less than $1,947,650 shall be available for expenses necessary to carry out railroad safety activities and not. less than $1,310,000 shall be available for expenses necessary to carry out locomotive inspection activities and of which $35,000 shall be available for establishment of a motor carrier office in Wyoming: Provided, That Joint Board members and cooperating State commissioners may use Government transportation requests when traveling in connection with their duties as such.
