§ 20–312. Forms of letters of testamentary The following is the form of letters testamentary to be issued under the seal of the Probate Court: District of Columbia: The United States of America. To all persons to whom these presents come, greeting: The last will and testament of ———, of ———, deceased, in due form of law, has been exhibited, proved, and recorded in the office of the Register of Wills of the District of Columbia, a copy of which is annexed to these presents, and administration of all the goods, chattels, and credits of the deceased is hereby granted unto ———, the executor appointed by the will. Witness [A B], the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, this ———day of ———. Test: [C D], Register of Wills.
