§ 21–1105. Appointment and qualifications of physicians; examination; certificatePursuant to the filing of a petition under section 21–1103, the court shall appoint two physicians, at least one of whom is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of mental diseases, to make an examination of the alleged feeble-minded person to determine his mental and physical condition. Their certificate shall be filed with the court on or before the hearing on the petition. The persons so appointed may make such personal examination of him as will enable them to offer an opinion as to his physical and mental condition. A certificate may not be made by them until after the examination.
