Sec. 607. (a) It is the sense of Congress that all the land comprising the Bolling-Anacostia complex will be required for military purposes within the foreseeable future and should be retained by the Department of Defense for such use. (b) Notwithstanding the provisions of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949, as amended (40 U.S.C. 471 et seq.), the Housing Act of 1949, as amended (42 U.S.C. 1441 et. seq.), the Act of June 8, 1960 (40 U.S.C. 2662), or any other law, no portion of the Bolling Air Force Base or the Anacostia Naval Air Station shall be determined excess to the needs of the holding agency or transferred, reassigned, or otherwise disposed of by such agency prior to July 1, 1967.
