Office of the Secretary salaries and expenses, activities relating to admission and employment in agriculture of nonimmigrant aliens For expenses necessary for the performance of such functions as the Secretary of Labor deems necessary to assure, in connection with the admission of nonimmigrant aliens under the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1184) for employment in agriculture, that maximum efforts are made to recruit and retain agricultural workers for available job opportunities, that domestic workers are given preference in employment over alien workers, and that the employment of alien workers does not adversely affect the wages and working conditions of workers in this country, $1,723,000.
