Operation and Maintenance, Marine Corps For expenses, necessary for the operation and maintenance of the Marine Corps including’ equipment and facilities; procurement of military personnel; training and education of regular and reserve personnel, including tuition and other costs incurred at civilian schools: welfare and recreation; conduct of schoolrooms, service clubs, chapels, and other instructional, entertainment, mid welfare expenses for the enlisted men; procurement mid manufacture of military supplies, equipment, and clothing; hire of passenger motor vehicles; transportation of things; medals, awards, emblems, and other insignia: operation of station hospitals, dispensaries and dental clinics; and departmental salaries; $192,500,000, of which not less than $20,462,000 shall be available only for the maintenance of real property facilities.
