Section 601(e) of the Revenue Act of 1941 (55 Stat. 726) (relating to the Joint Committee on Reduction of Nonessential Federal Expenditures) is amended to read as follows: “(e) There are hereby authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out the provisions or this section.”
