(a) (1) Clauses (1) and (5) of section 303(a) of the National Defense Education Act of 1958 are each amended by inserting “economics,” after “geography,”. (2) Section 301 of such Act is amended by striking out “and $90,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1965, and for each of the three succeeding fiscal years” and inserting in lieu thereof “$90,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1965, and $100,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1966, and for each of the two succeeding fiscal years”. (b) Section 1101 of such Act is amended— (1) by striking out “each of the three succeeding fiscal years” and inserting in lieu thereof “$50,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1966, and for each of the two succeeding fiscal years”; and (2) by inserting “economics, civics, industrial arts,” after “geography,”.
