Sec. 306. (a) Section 8074 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding the following new subsection at the end thereof: “(c) The Military Air Transport Service is redesignated as the Military Airlift Command.” (b) The amendment made by subsection (a) of this section shall become effective January 1, 1966.
