SEC. 801. REPEAL OF MANPOWER ESTIMATES REPORTING REQUIREMENT. (a) Repeal.—Section 2434 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking out “unless—” in subsection (a) and all that follows in that subsection and inserting in lieu thereof the following: “unless an independent estimate of the cost of the program, together with a manpower estimate, has been considered by the Secretary.”. (b) Conforming Amendments.— (1) Section 2434 of such title is further amended— (A) by striking out subsection (b); and (B) by redesignating subsection (c) as subsection (b). (2) Section 2432 of such title is amended in subsection (a)(4) by striking out “2434(c)(2)” and inserting in lieu thereof “2434(b)(2)”.
