§ 8525. Effect on other statutes (a) An individual eligible to receive a mustering-out payment under chapter 43 of title 38 is not entitled to compensation under this subchapter with respect to weeks of unemployment completed— (1) within 30 days after his discharge or release if he receives $100 in mustering-out payments; (2) within 60 days after his discharge or release if he receives $200 in mustering-out payments; or (3) within 90 days after his discharge or release if he receives $300 in mustering-out payments. 80 Stat. 592 (b) An individual is not entitled to compensation under this subchapter for any period with respect to which he receives— (1) a subsistence allowance under chapter 31 of title 38 or under part VIII of Veterans Regulation Numbered 1(a); or (2) an educational assistance allowance under chapter 35 of title 38.
