§ 8707. Employee deductions; withholding During each period in which an employee is insured under a policy of insurance purchased by the Civil Service Commission under section 8709 of this title, an amount determined by the Commission shall be withheld from the pay of the employee as his share of the cost of his group life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. The amount may not exceed the rate of 25 cents biweekly for each $1,000 of his group life insurance. The amount withheld from an employee paid on other than a biweekly basis is determined at a proportional rate adjusted to the nearest cent.
