§ 8713. Advisors (a) There is an Advisory Council on Group Insurance consisting of the Secretary of the Treasury as Chairman, the Secretary of Labor, and the Director of the Bureau of the Budget. The Council members serve without additional pay. The Council shall— (1) meet once a year, or oftener as called by the Civil Service Commission; (2) review the operations under this chapter; and (3) advise the Commission on matters of policy relating to its activities thereunder. (b) The Chairman of the Commission shall appoint a committee composed of five employees insured under this chapter, who serve without additional pay, to advise the Commission regarding matters of concern to employees under this chapter.
