Sec. 501. (a) The first sentence of section 515 of Public Law 84–161 (69 Stat. 352), as amended, is amended by striking out “1966 through and including 1967” and inserting in lieu thereof “1967 and 1968”. (b) Such section 515 is further amended by adding at the end thereof a new sentence as follows: “In addition to the foregoing, not more than 500 housing units may be leased during the fiscal years 1967 and 1968 in the State of Hawaii in order to provide temporary housing relief at or near military installations in such State.”
