SEC. 505. RETIREMENT OF CHIEF OF NAVAL OPERATIONS AND COMMANDANT OF THE MARINE CORPS IN HIGHEST GRADE. (a) Chief of Naval Operations.—Section 5034 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting “and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate” after “President”. (b) Commandant of the Marine Corps.—Section 5043(c) of such title is amended by inserting “and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate” after “President”.
