Plant and Equipment For expenses necessary for modernization and acquisition of equipment and facilities for postal purposes, including not to exceed $2,000,000 for increases in prior year orders placed with other Government agencies in addition to current increases in prior year orders or contracts made as a result of changes in plans, $105,000,000: Provided, That the funds herein appropriated shall be available for repair, alteration, and improvement or the mail equipment shops at Washington, District of Columbia, and for payment to the General Services Administration for the repair, alteration, preservation, renovation, improvement, and equipment of federally owned property used for postal purposes, including improved lighting, color, and ventilation for the specialized conditions in space occupied for postal purposes. This title may be cited as the “Post Office Department Appropriation Act, 1966.”
