SEC. 1114. RANK OF WARRANT OFFICERS. (a) Rank Within Grade.—Chapter 43 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting after section 741 the following new section: “§ 742. Rank: warrant officers “(a) Among warrant officer grades, warrant officer grades of a higher numerical designation are senior to warrant officer grades of a lower numerical designation. “(b) Rank among warrant officers of the same grade, and date of rank of warrant officers, is determined in the same manner as prescribed in section 741 of this title for officers in grades above warrant officer grades.”. (b) Conforming Repeal.—Section 745 of such title is repealed. (c) Clerical Amendments.—The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 43 of such title is amended— (1) by inserting after the item relating to section 741 the following new item: “742. Rank: warrant officers.”; and (2) by striking out the item relating to section 745.
