PRESERVATION OF EXISTING LAW FOR COAST GUARD.
SEC. 1125. PRESERVATION OF EXISTING LAW FOR COAST GUARD. (a) In General.—Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the provisions of sections 555 through 565 of title 10, United States Code, as in effect on the day before the effective date of this title, shall continue to apply to the Coast Guard on and after that date. (b) Conforming Amendments to Title 14, United States Code.—(1) Section 286a(a) of title 14, United States Code, is amended by inserting “(as in effect on the day before the effective date of the Warrant Officer Management Act)” after “section 564(a)(3) of title 10”. (2) Section 334(b) of such title is amended by striking out “section 564, 1263, 1293, or 1305 of title 10” and inserting in lieu thereof “section 564 of title 10 (as in effect on the day before the effective date of the Warrant Officer Management Act) or 1263, 1293, or 1305 of title 10”.
