SEC. 1017. INAPPLICABILITY TO INFLATABLE BOATS OF RESTRICTION ON CONSTRUCTION IN FOREIGN SHIPYARDS.Section 7309 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: “(d) An inflatable boat or a rigid inflatable boat, as defined by the Secretary of the Navy, is not a vessel for the purpose of the restriction in subsection (a).”.
