authorizing treatment of non-service-connected disability of veteran hospitalized for service-connected condition Sec. 304. That section 610 of title 38, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end thereof the following new subsection: “(c) While any veteran is receiving hospital care in any Veterans’ Administration facility, the Administrator may, within the limits of Veterans’ Administration facilities, furnish medical services to correct or treat any non-service-connected disability of such veteran, in addition to treatment incident to the disability for which he is hospitalized, if the veteran is willing, and the Administrator determines that the furnishing of such medical services (1) would be in the interest of the veteran, (2) would not prolong the hospitalization of such veteran, and (3) would not interfere with the furnishing of medical services to other veterans under authority other than this subsection.”
