AUTHORIZATION OF ACQUISITIONS.

SEC. 3302. AUTHORIZATION OF ACQUISITIONS. (a) Acquisitions.—During each of the fiscal years 1992 and 1993, the National Defense Stockpile Manager shall obligate $150,000,000 out of funds of the National Defense Stockpile Transaction Fund (subject to such limitations as may be provided in appropriations Acts) for the authorized uses of such funds under section 9(b)(2) of the Strategic and Critical Materials Stock Piling Act (50 U.S.C. 98h(b)(2)). 105 STAT. 1584 (b) Research and Development Programs.—Of the amount specified in subsection (a), $25,000,000 may be obligated during each of such fiscal years for materials development and research under clause (G) of such section.
