Sec. 106. Existing appointments and assignments to the Foreign Service Reserve in the Department of State which expire during the current fiscal year may the extended in the discretion of the Secretary of State for a period of one year in addition to the period of appointment or assignment otherwise authorized. This title may be cited as the “Department of State Appropriation Act, 1968”.
