authority to disregard additional income of recipients of public assistance Sec. 213. (a) (1) Section 2(a)(10)(A)(i) of the Social Security Act is amended by striking out “not more than $5” and inserting in lieu thereof “not more than $7.50”. (2) Section 1002(a)(8)(C) of such Act is amended by striking out “not more than $5” and inserting in lieu thereof “not more than $7.50”. (3) Section 1402(a)(8)(A) of such Act is amended by striking out “not more than $5” and inserting in lieu thereof “not more than $7.50”. (4) Section 1604(a)(14)(D) of such Act is amended by striking out “not more than $5” and inserting in lieu thereof “not more than $7.50”. (b) Section 402(a) of such Act is amended by inserting before the period at the end thereof the following: “; and (23) provide that by July 1, 1969, the amounts used by the State to determine the needs of individuals will have been adjusted to reflect fully changes in living costs since such amounts were established, and any maximums that the State imposes on the amount of aid paid to families will have been proportionately adjusted”.
