National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities salaries and expenses For expenses necessary to carry out the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965, to remain available until expended, $11,200,000, of which $4,500,000 shall be available for carrying out section 5(c) and functions under Public Law 88–579; $3,500,000 for carrying out section 7(c); and $2,000,000 for carrying out section 5(h) of the Act: Provided, That, in addition, there is appropriated for the purposes of section 11 (b) of the Act, amounts equal to the total amounts of gifts, bequests and devises of money, and other property received by each Endowment, during the current fiscal year, under the provisions of section 10(a)(2) of the Act, but not to exceed a total of 81 Stat. 75$1,000,000: Provided further, That not to exceed three percent of the funds appropriated for the purposes of Section 5(c) and not to exceed three percent of the funds appropriated for the purposes of Section 7(c) shall be available for program development and evaluation.
