§ 403. Compensation of members (a) Members of Congress who are members of the Commission shall serve without compensation in addition to that received for their services as Members of Congress; but they shall be reimbursed for travel, subsistence, and other necessary expenses incurred by them in the performance of the duties vested in the Commission. (b) Each member of the Commission who is appointed by the President may receive compensation at a rate of $100 for each day he is engaged upon work of the Commission, and shall be reimbursed for travel expenses, including per diem in lieu of subsistence as authorized 82 Stat. 165by law (5 U.S.C. 5703) for persons in the Government service employed intermittently.
