administrative provisions Appropriations and funds available to the Bureau of Commercial Fisheries shall be available for purchase, of not to exceed nineteen passenger motor vehicles, of which seventeen shall be for replacement only (including one for police-type use which may exceed by $300 the general purchase price limitation for the current fiscal year); publication and distribution of bulletins as authorized by law (7 U.S.C. 417); rations or commutation of rations for officers and crews of vessels at rates not to exceed $6.50 per man per day; options for the purchase of land at not to exceed $1 for each option; and maintenance and improvement of aquaria, buildings, and other facilities under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Commercial Fisheries to which the United States has title, and which are utilized pursuant to law in connection with management and investigations of fishery resources.
