federal share Sec. 102. (a) Subsection (a)(1) of section 722 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 293b) is amended by striking out “such amount may not exceed 50 per centum” and inserting in lieu thereof “such amount may not, except where the Secretary determines that ususual circumstances make a larger percentage (which in no case may exceed 66⅔ per centum) necessary in order to effectuate the purposes of this part, exceed 50 per centum”. (b) The amendment made by this section shall apply in the case of projects for which grants are made from appropriations for fiscal years ending after June 30, 1969.
