revision of matching provisions Sec. 134. Section 444(a) (6) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (as amended by this part) is amended to read as follows: “(6) provide that the Federal share of the compensation of students employed in the work-study program in accordance with the agreement will not exceed 80 per centum of such compensation; except that the Federal share may exceed 80 per centum of such compensation if the Commissioner determines, pursuant to regulations adopted and promulgated by him establishing objective criteria for such determinations, that a Federal share in excess of 80 per centum is required in furtherance of the purposes of this part;”
