Effective for fiscal years ending on or after June 30, 1970— (1) Section 443(b) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (as amended by this part) is amended by striking out “or” before “an area vocational school”, and by inserting before the period at the end thereof the following: “, or a proprietary institution of higher education (as defined in section 461(b) of this Act)”. (2) Section 444(a) (1) of such Act (as amended by this part) is amended by inserting after “work for the institution itself” the following: “(except in the case of a proprietary institution of higher education),”.
