extension of program of financial assistance for strengthening instruction in the humanities and arts Sec. 501. (a) The first sentence of section 12 of the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965 is amended (1) by striking out “two succeeding years” and inserting in lieu thereof “five succeeding fiscal years”, and (2) by striking out all that follows “$500,000” and inserting in lieu thereof a period. (b) Such section is further amended, (1) in subsection (b), by striking out “allotted” and inserting in lieu thereof “reserved, allotted, and reallotted”; and (2) in subsection (f), by striking out “allot and”.
