job corps study Sec. 308. (a) The Commissioner of Education is authorized and directed to make a special study of the means by which the existing Job Corps facilities and programs established under the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 most effectively might, if determined feasible, be transferred to State or joint Federal-State operation in conjunction with the program of Residential Vocational Education authorized by part E of the Vocational Education Act of 1963. (b) The Commissioner shall consult with other Federal officers, State boards of vocational education, and such other individuals and organizations as he may deem necessary for this study, and shall make a report of his findings and recommendations to the appropriate committees of the Congress not later than March 1, 1969.
