Sec. 403. Section 408(e)(1)(A)(iv) oi the National Housing Act, as amended, is amended by striking the phrase “the control of any such institution” and inserting in lieu thereof the following: “except that the Corporation may upon application by such company extend such one-year period from year to year, for an additional period not exceeding three years, if the Corporation finds such extension is warranted and shall not be detrimental to the public interest”.
