SEC. 1014. GRANT TO PREVENT AND CONTROL POTATO DISEASES. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, funds available to the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service of the Department of Agriculture for fiscal year 1992 shall be made available as a grant in the amount of $530,000 to the State of Maine Department of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Resources for potato disease detection, control, prevention, eradication and related activities, including the105 STAT. 1902 payment of compensation to persons for economic losses associated with such efforts conducted or to be conducted in the State of Maine. Any unobligated balances of funds previously appropriated or allocated for potato disease efforts by the Secretary of Agriculture shall remain available until expended by the Secretary.
