Sec. 510. (a) Section 7574 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding the following new subsection at the end thereof: “(f) The maximum limitations prescribed by subsections (a), (d), and (e) may be increased up to 15 per centum if the Secretary of Defense, or his designee, determines that such increase is in the best interest of the Government to permit award of a turnkey construction contract for family housing to the contractor offering the most satisfactory proposal.” (b) Sections 4774 and 9774 of title 10, United States Code, are amended by adding the following new subsection at the end of each: “(h) The maximum limitations prescribed by subsections (a), (f), and (g) may be increased up to 15 per centum if the Secretary of Defense, or his designee, determines that such increase is in the best interest of the Government to permit award of a turnkey construction contract for family housing to the contractor offering the most satisfactory proposal.”
