The first sentence of section 1010(c) of the Demonstration Cities and Metropolitan Development Act of 1966 is amended— (1) by inserting “(1)” after “authorized”; and (2) by inserting before the period a comma and the following: “and (2) notwithstanding any other provision of law, to acquire, use and dispose of land and other property as he deems necessary to carry out the purposes of subsection (a)(1) of this section”.
